Moving On

I just couldn't let this sit here any longer with nothing but a sorry picture of my desktop on it. I have nothing profound to say, just needed to move beyond the meme.

If you're wondering what I've been up to lately, you can check out my other blog. I just finished updating that one too. Stewart, I'm sorry to say that I haven't written you a vampire story, but I have an excuse. Really, I do. It's um, it's uh... the cat ate my mouse. Yeah, that was it. And by the way, where are the links you promised us? I haven't seen your entry yet.

As for the rest of you, I've been lurking about, reading your blogs. Just haven't had much time lately and blogger doesn't always let me comment. Keep up the good work, folks.

Kate, my love, don't you worry about that story. I haven't written it, either. You keep lurking..and maybe you'll catch me doing the same, and we can lurk together. Ooooh.

Girlfriend, I'm still trying to figure out how you manage to keep up with two blogs. One is more than enough for me and I only update the thing once a week.

Oooh...lurking about with Stewart. Sounds fun!

Marcia, obviously I don't update as much as I used to, but I think the fact that the two blogs have two different audiences help. There is some crossover, but one is geared to romance/erotica and the other toward fantasty/sci-fi, so that makes it easier.

Sometimes I think I'd like to combine both blogs into one, but at this point, people seem to be used to going to one or the other and I'm used to thinking about them separately. And I'm guessing the readers of each would have less interest in the subjects I post for the other.

Ah well. It's not like I ever post anything earth shattering anyway, so that also makes it easier. :)

The shadowy corners of my blog are always open for your amorphous ogling, Kate.

Can Stewart and I join you behind that pile of clothes in the closet? That might be fun. As long as the Architect and Mrs. Stu don't mind. ;)

Kate, I often forget to check your second blog, and my link to your blogging is to this one on my site. Would you rather have me link to your other one? I can change it.

RK Sterling said...

Hi Charles. You don't have to change the link. I've got the two blogs because one is for romance readers & writers, and the other if for the fantasy/sci-fi/horror readers & writers. Often there's not a lot of overlap between the two. ;)

I mean, if you've got a burning desire to know who's going to be at the Romantic Times convention, or which publishers are now accepting Regency Romance, then by all means change your link. ;)

I was just too lazy the other day to copy all that information on this site, and frankly, had nothing else to say that day. :)

Come on over. It's all good.

Kate, we may be living parallel lives. I too am lurking, reading others' blogs, while trying to come up with five items for the writing meme. Pitiful me! I haven't posted on my blog in almost a month. Perhaps I'll post the meme, short an item or two, just to have something up there. I'll check your blog and you check mine and perhaps we'll both come up with pithy entries on the same day....

RK Sterling said...

LOL, Sphinx. Right now, I don't think I can manage pithy. Change the "th" to "ss" and maybe... :)

So busy my head's spinning right now, and will be for the next several weeks. That's what I get for saying I needed to work.

Good luck with the meme. :)

Sometimes the muse is silent, but just typing something can serve to wake her up.

Life does seem to get in our way at times, huh?

I know, I know....

You're right, Sidney. I need to get back to it.

Susan - so good to see you out and about again!
